The Times, the UK’s leading daily newspaper for business people, is
promoting the Leitz campaign to help office workers become fitter and
more productive in the office as part of their daily routine. They have
filmed Sharron Davies, the ex Olympic athlete spearheading the Leitz
Office Games Campaign, performing a selection of the Leitz Office Games
‘at-your-desk’ toning exercises.
From 3rd-7th March, The Times will drive their readers to see the video
clips of Sharron on the TimesONLINE web site by featuring details of the
Leitz Office Games Campaign in times2, the main supplement of the Times.
The Times has daily sales of 640,000 copies with an estimated daily
readership of 1.5m.

The videos will be housed on the Crème and Career sections of
Timesonline.
On Wednesday, Times2 includes Crème, the newspaper’s supplement for PAs,
secretaries, executive assistants and anyone who works in administrative
support. This section is read by more secretaries than The Guardian and
The Evening Standard. The Leitz Office Games ‘at-your-desk’ toning
exercises, in association with The Times, will also be featured on the
home page of TimesONLNE for at least one day next week. TimesOnline
receives 12.4m unique visitors each month.
The big bonus for Esselte and the trade is that the TIMESONLINE feature
will include a LIVE link to www.leitz.com/officegames . On this website
end users can register to receive Sharron’s monthly fitness emails and
tips, browse the Leitz product portfolio, take the Leitz product fitness
text, and enter a prize draw to win two tickets to Beijing, home of the
2008 Olympics.
Juliet Tipton, Marketing Manager, Esselte UK said, “This is the
tremendous opportunity for dealers to grow their sales of Leitz products
by participating with us in this campaign and in particular to promote
Leitz products during this fantastic PR event. We have already planned
lots of customer promotions and blitz days for this week, mainly
focusing on the 180° Lever Arch File – the file with the fastest track
record. Dealers can also add the live link www.timesonline.uk/creme to
their web sites in conjunction with www.leitz.com/officegames”
