Color codings easy!

Color Yourself Organized

Research in offices has shown that colour coded files can reduce the time it takes to find things by 33% or more!!

Three ways that colour can help make a filing system more productive.

1. File each subject with a different colour
The most obvious benefit to using colour when you file is the ability to categorise your information and identify it at a glance For example, if you choose a different coloured file for each type of customer record i.e. orders, deliveries and invoices, then there is much less chance that you will mix them up.
2. Think in blocks
If you are using a suspension filing system, such as an Esselte system, then the best way to colour code is by creating blocks of colour in each drawer. For example, if you’re filing alphabetically everything beginning with A could be filed in a blue folder, B in an orange folder and so on. By grouping files of the same colour together in the drawer, it makes it faster and easier to identify the correct section visually and manually. With 13 colours to choose from, Esselte gives you a great range.
3. Double your colour coding options and increase your filing productivity.
Esselte’s colour folders use a lighter shade of the outside colour on the insider of the colder. All you have to do is to turn a folder inside out to double your colour coding options.
